Clair graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a Master of Science in Environmental Science & Policy (Climate & Energy Track). Wren graduated from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology. She also holds degrees from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities in Chemistry and Anthropology.

For five years, Wren worked as a permanent and remote chemist. During that period, she contributed to several articles, most of which dealt with the synthesis of organic matter. She belongs to the American Meteorological Society as well.

Wren started in broadcast meteorology in Wisconsin’s Northwoods, and she is thrilled to be reporting in the Great Lakes region once again in the Upper Midwest! She built her career as a weekend meteorologist in Rhinelander, Wisconsin, and later moved on to become a morning weather presenter.

In October 2016, she moved from “America’s Dairyland” to Boston, where she served as the lunch and morning forecast at WHDH, reporting around twelve Nor’easters during her tenure in New England.
