YouTube Career
Ian is one of the most known YouTubers in the world. His YouTube Channel has garnered over 23.4M subscribers. He joined YouTube on the 27th of November 2009, and on September 14, 2010, he posted what is thought to be his first ever Minecraft YouTube video, titled “Minecraft Cave Adventure (1 of 3)”. However, the video was made private along with his old Call Of Duty videos, which he uploaded prior to creating Minecraft content. On the 23 of August 2013, SSundee reached 1 million subscribers. In addition, on the 28th of February 2013, he began his alter-ego identified as Derp SSundee, and his first appearance was in the video “Minecraft Mods – Corruption Dimension Mod – Mobs, Boss, Items”.
When he began to record alongside Lanceypooh, Derp SSundee appeared with Lancey’s alter-ego Eddy. In 2013, SSundee joined Team Crafted and after joining, he attained more recognition as a Minecraft YouTuber. His time with the group would see him post many funny gaming videos, though, in mid-2014, Ian left Team Crafted for an unknown reason.
On the 19th of November 2013, he posted Minecraft SuperCraft Bros 45 where he teamed up with Lanceypooh. The duo started to create countless Minecraft videos at the time. He and Lancey were known as Landee. On the 2nd episode of Lancey’s and SSundee’s FTB Minecraft series, he began being obsessed with Cobblestone. On the 27th episode, SSundee stated: “Cobblestone Equals Life” and this marked the start of SSundee’s obsession with Cobblestone. However, after a while, their collaboration ended after Crainer, a small YouTuber who used to live in Lancey’s house, kept in touch with SSundee. Crainer videoed audio of Lancey and asked questions about Ian, although afterward this was disproven.

From December 27, 2017, to April 17, 2018, Stapleton abandoned uploading gameplay videos for nearly four months. he said that he would be taking a temporary break from YouTube due to personal issues and concentrating on his family. On the 18th of April 2018, Ian uploaded his first gameplay video since December 26, 2017.
Before fame, Ian served in the United States Air Force and was posting YouTube videos during that time. His military obligation ended on the 14th of February 2013.
