Her dad is a World Champion canoe paddler who impressed on her the history, skills, and ethics of their cree-metis ancestors while her mother is a world-class land-based educator who guided her along her journey into teaching and sharing her knowledge.
She has made several television appearances on APTN showcasing her way of life and her skills as an outdoorswoman. Her adventurous spirit propelled her to begin Aski Holistic Adventures in January 2018. Since opening, Michela has acquired a customer list including the University of Saskatchewan, Discovery Channel, APTN, and travelers from Germany and Australia. Through Aski Holistic Adventures, she uses a special blend of philosophy, stories, sharing, and wilderness activities to offer spiritual, emotional, and physical healing while guiding customers through transformative experiences.
Following the footsteps of her ancestors, Michela wants to push herself past her maximum to bring home a new sense of self-confidence, and also the most lucrative season yet—because she wants to be a winner!
